Broch of Gurness is one of Orkney's brochs. Photograph manipulated and converted to water colour painting using Coral Painter, Fireworks and Paintshop Pro software packages.
During a visit to the Broch of Gurness I spent a little time walking the dogs along the Sands of Evie which is nearby to the broch. My wife was lucky to watch 5 hares playing, boxing and running about very close to the car. When I got back with the dogs I got the story that I had missed a wildlife experience she had enjoyed and that had made her holiday in Orkney. I then noticed two hares heading our way and by the time I got the camera out and tried to get it to autofocus this is all I manage to capture. Next time I hope to have a faster, better camera!
